Application for a Special Event Liquor Permit

  • Answer the questions below to determine if you are eligible and/or need a Special Event Liquor Permit.

    Skip these questions if you do need not help determining whether you need a Special Event Liquor Permit.

  • Are you eligible to apply for a Special Event Liquor Permit as one of the following?
  • Application must first be submitted at least thirty (30) days prior to the event. Late applications can be accepted on a case-by-case basis, and will be subject to a $50 late fee. If your event is less than thirty (30) days from today, please contact the Clerk's office at 970-641-8080 before submitting an application.

    • Manager Training Certification Form and Server Information
    • Public notice of the proposed event and procedure for protesting issuance of the permit shall be conspicuously posted at the proposed location for at least (10) days before approval of the permit by City of Gunnison. (44-5-106 C.R.S.)
    • $50 fee per day, paid by check made payable to the City of Gunnison
